RELATIONSHIP TOOLS
One of the major social issues in our world today is called LONELINESS.
God created us with a desire to be in relationship with others and to share life with other people. When we're not in healthy relationships with other people, we're missing out on God's best for our life.
We can't make people be friends with you, nor can we make you be friends with them. But as a church, we do want to provide opportunities and environments where relationships can begin and perhaps blossom into deep, healthy, lasting friendships.
GROUPS / CLASSES / TEAMS
You're only fooling yourself if you think you'll make some quality friendships at church if all you do is attend the worship service on Sunday. If you really want to meet people, you need to get involved in a small group of some kind:
- Sunday School Classes / Bible Studies
If you're looking for a way to meet others, learn more about your faith, and are a bit restricted by time, a Sunday School Class or Bible Study may be the best choice for you. Contact the church office to discover the most current classes/studies. - Life Groups
Life Groups are groups of 10-15 people that come together on a regular basis to fun, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Because Life Groups meet outside of our church schedule, it allows more time to get to know one another. Contact the church office to learn more about Life Groups. - Ministry Teams
A great way to meet new people, have some fun, and grow in your faith is through serving others. There are lots of great ways to jump in and get involved here at Pleasant Valley - whether on Sunday mornings or throughout the week. Serving others is a great way to put into practice the talents, gifts and abilities that God has given to you!
