"All praise to the God and
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the source of every mercy and
the God who comforts us. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we
can comfort others. When others are troubled, we will be able to give
them the same comfort God has given us."
-- 1 Corinthians

HOW DO I RECEIVE PASTORAL CARE @ PLEASANT VALLEY?
If you have a need beyond prayer, you can meet with one of our pastors and/or deacons to discuss your need and determine a course of action.
To receive pastoral care at Pleasant Valley, simply call the church office (860-446-1616) and describe your need for assistance.
The pastor and/or deacon best suited to help will be assigned to you.
The assigned person will call you to speak with you personally about your situation and will schedule a time to meet, if necessary.
Together, you and the assigned person will prayerfully assess the best steps/course of action for you to take.
If deemed appropriate, you may be referred to a professional Christian counselor for more in-depth and on-going counseling.
NOTE:
Pleasant Valley pastors will not meet privately, behind closed doors with members of the opposite sex.
